Being the ideal place to grow children, our educating focuses on the individual needs of the child and the development of skills that they will require for their future – regardless of what direction it may take.
We value and encourage a broad education while maintaining a focus on results. A strong emphasis is on assisting the child to identify and develop their particular learning style, as they progress through the requirements of the Clifton curriculum, gaining the basic and fundamental skills of each learning area.
Every individual at Clifton has the opportunity to build on their experiences through the exchange of knowledge and ideas and the encouragement to have some insight into the world around them. Therefore much of this life learning takes place outside the classroom - where children are happiest!
Children leave the Senior Primary at Clifton having enjoyed a true childhood. They have the necessary skills to move forward independently and responsibly. Where others see an obstacle, Cliftonians see a challenge. Where others see half-empty, Cliftonians see half-full. Where others opt out, Cliftonians move in.
In conclusion, while it may not always be easy to say exactly what happens in the Senior Primary at Clifton, it is a lot easier to say what is produced - young adults who are prepared for an exciting, rewarding and successful life.
